📌 3 companies after earnings: I see a generational opportunity in one of them

The earnings season brought more interesting moves. In the video, I discuss Microsoft, Amazon and especially Meta, where I think the market is being too short-sighted about the heavy investments into AI and data centers.

Both Microsoft and Amazon showed that demand for cloud and AI infrastructure remains very strong. But I’m paying the most attention to Meta.

The market is worried about the huge capex and pressure on free cash flow. I look at what these investments can bring the company in a few years:

higher-quality recommendation algorithms,

a more powerful advertising platform,

monetization growth,

an AI assistant for billions of users,

smart glasses,

and proprietary infrastructure that can be a major competitive advantage.

Of course, high investments carry risk and Meta still has to prove it can turn capital into profit and cash flow growth. But with its current business, user base and AI use cases, I think it could be one of the most interesting long-term opportunities among large tech companies.

What do you think? Is Meta a generational opportunity at the current AI investment levels, or is management taking on too much risk?

Who had the best results?

VS

In my view, the best results came from $AMZN and $MSFT. At $MSFT, I really liked that Azure surpassed $100 billion in revenue. At $AMZN, I was surprised by the strongest AWS growth in the last 18 months.
