Analysts are now raising target prices for $RIVN. That of course helps the stock, and yesterday it rose by roughly 15%. I haven't bought the shares yet; I'm waiting for further results to see if the fundamentals improve. In my opinion the potential is enormous, but it's also tied to quite a few risks.
What are your thoughts on $RIVN?
I got pretty burned with Rivian — it was supposed to be the next Tesla. I bought in after the IPO at $130; as it fell I kept buying more and hoped for a turnaround, and later I sold almost everything at a loss. I still have 100 shares at about $9, and I'm holding them. I lost roughly €1,000, but at least I learned a lesson for the future. Don’t buy immediately after an IPO! Maybe over time those 100 shares will make back the loss. The company itself is interesting and I believe in it.
