Apple $AAPL announced a billion-dollar partnership with Broadcom $AVGO!

The aim is to design and manufacture custom chip components and cutting-edge wireless connectivity technologies for a wide range of Apple products.

The new deal, which is expected to exceed 30 billion dollars in value, will lead to the production of more than 15 billion US-made chips and support hundreds of jobs in America.

Both companies' shares rose today.
