BioNTech $BNTX

BioNTech reported its results yesterday.

This company focuses and specializes in the development and research of immunotherapeutic drugs targeting the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases.

It is also known for the development and production of the COVID-19 vaccine with Pfizer.

Results for the first quarter of this year :

Revenues : EUR 1.28 billion, first quarter revenues last year were EUR 6.37 billion.

Earnings per share : EUR 2.05, first quarter earnings per share last year were EUR 14.24.

Unfortunately, this is a decrease compared to the first quarter of last year. However, this is due to the fact that both $PFE and $BNTX had big sales last year and the year before due to the launch of their vaccine which was used in most countries.

However, according to available information, $PFE and $BNTX are preparing for the fall where they expect an increase in the number of people infected with covid.
