Uber $UBER reported its results for the last quarter.
Uber third quarter:
Earnings per share: 10 cents (12 cents expected)
Revenue: $9.29 billion ($9.52 billion expected)
Revenue growth of 11% compared to the prior year
Net income of $221 million (versus a loss of $1.2 billion in the prior year)
Gross bookings of $35.3 billion (up 21%)
For the fourth quarter of 2023, Uber expects gross bookings between $36.5 billion and $37.5 billion and adjusted EBITDA between $1.18 billion and $1.24 billion.
Uber's largest segments - Mobility and Delivery - saw gross bookings grow 31% and 18%, respectively, compared to the prior year.
The number of monthly active users on the Uber platform grew 15% to 142 million, and 2.44 billion rides were taken (up 25%).
