📈 Investment Update 2024 🚀

Have a nice evening! 🌐 I would like to highlight here today the performance of stocks within the Dow Jones index for 2024. 📊

✨ Biggest growth ✨

Disney $DIS has stepped forward by an impressive +19,3 % A great start to the year for investors 🟢, the stock was dragged up by positive results!

Followed by Merck $MRK with growth +18,2 % 🟢, which is definitely a success in the pharmaceutical field.

American Express $AXP, Travelers $TRV, and Amazon $AMZN also kept a solid pace with performances around +15 % 🟢

🚀 Some titles are rising on a wave of trends 🚀

Interesting to see Salesforce $CRM grow by +16,2 % 🟢, this suggests a growing position in cloud services.

Not forgetting icons like Microsoft $MSFT +8,4 % 🟢 and Visa $V +9,1 % 🟢, which still hold their weight in the market.

However, ❗ Among the growth, there are some big titles that are seeing declines❗

Companies like Apple $AAPL and Intel $INTC are struggling -3% 🔴 a -11% 🔴 loss. Which is interesting given the current market situation. The decline is mainly due to the weaker outlook.

The 📉 biggest losses from the beginning of the year 📉

Boeing $BA and 3M $MMM posted noticeable losses -20 % 🔴 a -16 % 🔴. Anyone following the happenings around these companies?

This year has been very interesting for me so far, how does your portfolio look after a successful start to the year?💸😉

Yeah DIS makes me really happy, I looked at it yesterday and I'm +40% there, which makes me really happy. Otherwise, I'm accumulating cash, but I'll be adding more REITs.

Reity seems like the best option to me!

Nice summary, a list. I'm kind of keeping to the side so far this year. I was taking small profits on $NVDA but again I got hasty and failed to trade in $COIN and got dominated by the volatility there. Otherwise I would rather see technology a bit lower, although I am happy with $AMD for example which I bought back around $100. Otherwise, I'm happy with the aforementioned $DIS and $CVS overall ...my portfolio was around 4% minus in Jan. (affected by the bad trade at that Coinbase, I have it all under one account for now) and I'll end Feb around 2% plus.

Well, that's nice work, $DIS finally got unstuck so let's see how it goes. What's your plan for the rest of the year?
