I recently came across a company called MercadoLibre. Their business is quite similar to Amazon. Overall, the company has been quite successful and profitable in recent years. It might not be bad for a smaller position, but the price is pretty high right now.

What's your take on MercadoLibre ($MELI)?

NT

I'd rather buy $AMZN stock. Amazon is much better and more stable.

CB

Again, perhaps there is more potential and more room for growth.

MS

Well it doesn't look bad at all, but the price is pretty high right now, so it's not a good time to buy.

BC

Agreed, I won't be buying, but the price to buy is pretty high right now.

CB

It looks very solid, the stock is rising nicely.

BC

It does, but when it's a byzine similar to Amazon, it doesn't make much sense to me to invest in it.

AA

I certainly wouldn't buy the company now. Its valuation is very high and its growth or at least return from the business is slowly declining. That's associated with growth, but I'd like to see it slower.

BC

Agreed, plus it's just better and easier to just buy the $AMZN one.
