👋 Hello Bulios folks, lately the talk has been mostly about AI, semiconductors, and fast-growing tech companies. Still, one thing interests me – do you still invest in dividend stocks today?
📈 Personally, alongside my growth portfolio, I'm gradually building a dividend portfolio as well, and I have to say I'm liking that stability more and more. That regular dividend income is one of the main reasons I buy these companies. I enjoy the feeling that the portfolio generates cash even during periods when markets are more volatile, and at the same time I'm investing in established companies with a long history and stable business, so I don't have to worry about major swings.
Of course, I understand and also practice the other view myself, which focuses mainly on growth companies. Both approaches have their advantages and can often complement each other well.
How about you?
💰 Are you building a dividend portfolio, or do you prefer growth stocks? And if you invest in dividend companies, what criteria do you use to select them – dividend yield, history of dividend growth, or something completely different?
I'd be glad if you shared your perspective. I'm curious how popular the dividend strategy is among investors today.
