How the portfolio performed in August 📈

August closed at +20.03%, bringing 2026 YTD performance to +9.25%.

After a challenging first half of the year, the portfolio benefited from strong execution across several high-conviction positions. The focus remains unchanged: identifying businesses with durable competitive advantages that can compound value over many years.

Current core holdings include:

🔹 Intuit ($INTU) - 25.06% allocation 🔹 Vistra ($VST) - 14.15% allocation 🔹 AECOM ($ACM) - 14.90% allocation 🔹 Oracle ($ORCL) - 13.93% allocation 🔹 Salesforce ($CRM) - 13.41% allocation 🔹 ServiceNow ($NOW) - 13.15% allocation 🔹 Zscaler ($ZS) - 5.41% allocation

Some of the themes driving the portfolio:

✅ Enterprise AI adoption ✅ Mission-critical software platforms ✅ Digital transformation ✅ Infrastructure investment growth ✅ Increasing power demand from AI data centers

While I am pleased with the recent results, my focus is not on monthly returns. The objective remains building a concentrated portfolio of quality companies capable of delivering attractive long-term returns.

Market volatility is inevitable, and I view pullbacks as opportunities to add to my highest-conviction ideas rather than reasons to change the strategy.

It wasn't the best performer, but I was very pleased with the development of $CCJ and $RIO stocks at the beginning of the year, where these names contributed significantly to performance.
