Nike $NKE will be removed from the S&P 100 index effective before the opening of trading on September 21, 2026. Along with it, Honeywell Aerospace $HONA , Simon Property $SPG Group and Colgate-Palmolive $CL will also leave the index.

Their places will be taken by Dell Technologies $DELL , Palo Alto Networks $PANW, Arista Networks $ANET and Sandisk $SNDK.

Does anyone still have $NKE in their portfolio? Bill Ackman tried to lift the company, but in the end he failed and gave up the bet. The stock trades at the same prices as in 2014. I must say I was also thinking about some small position, but ultimately I didn't enter... thankfully.
