Yesterday I initiated a position in AppLovin, and I wanted to share the thinking behind the decision.
At first glance, many investors still associate AppLovin with mobile gaming. I think that view is increasingly outdated.
Today, AppLovin is evolving into an AI-powered advertising platform, with its AXON engine helping advertisers identify, target, and acquire customers more effectively. The company has successfully transformed itself from a gaming-focused business into a software-driven advertising ecosystem.
✅ Why I bought:
1. AI with measurable ROI Unlike many AI stories that are still largely based on promises, AppLovin's AI directly impacts advertiser performance. The value proposition is simple: if customers achieve better returns, they spend more on the platform.
2. Expanding beyond gaming One of the most interesting developments is the company's push into e-commerce and broader advertising markets. Management sees opportunities well beyond mobile games, significantly increasing its addressable market.
3. Exceptional profitability Few growth companies generate the level of margins and cash flow that AppLovin has been producing. Strong profitability provides flexibility to invest in growth, return capital to shareholders, and navigate market volatility.
4. Participation in a long-term secular trend Digital advertising continues to shift toward platforms that can drive better performance through data and AI. If AppLovin continues executing, it has the potential to gain a larger share of advertising budgets over time.

I am buying because I believe the company is building one of the most powerful AI-driven advertising platforms in the market, with a large runway for growth and a business model that converts innovation into real cash flow.
