Over 21,000 trades in the first year of Donald Trump's presidency? Yes, that is reality.

But did Donald execute them himself? No. "Allegedly" :) Of course he didn't personally place all of them, that's probably obvious, but he likely passed the information along. But I'll leave that to everyone's own judgment.

The data comes from the president's annual financial report, according to which the value of his investment accounts rose to at least $858 million and includes stakes in roughly 1,600 companies. So he's certainly no small-timer :)

For example, Joe Biden made 13 stock trades over his entire term, while Trump made 86 transactions in 2017. The portfolio is spread across eight accounts, and the White House emphasizes that it is managed by professional advisors who do not routinely communicate with the president. The word routinely here is, in my opinion, quite important.

So what does the US president actually hold?

Trump holds stakes in dozens of companies with government contracts, including $PLTR, $LMT, $BA, $RTX, $INTC and $NVDA, as well as in prison stocks $GEO and $CXW.

On the day the White House unveiled its AI Action Plan in July 2025, purchases were made in six tech companies including $MSFT, $META and $AVGO, each in the range of $1 to $5 million. However, the report does not state whether the trades took place before or after the announcement.
