Anthropic could publish its IPO prospectus as soon as Friday and raise up to $100 billion

Anthropic could publish its S-1 IPO prospectus as soon as this Friday!

According to the latest information, the company is targeting a stock market debut as soon as November.

The company confidentially filed a draft registration statement with the SEC in June. The rules require it to publish the documents no later than 15 days before the investor roadshow begins.

Wall Street now expects Anthropic could raise up to $100 billion at a valuation of around $2 trillion, surpassing even $SPCX's June IPO.

Revenue for the first half of 2026 reached $16.3 billion, but net losses exceeded $80 billion. In the third quarter, revenue rose to $16.8 billion from $11.5 billion in the second quarter, and the company reports profitability (for now only) on an adjusted basis.

Huge costs are going toward computing infrastructure, which Anthropic sources from $GOOG and $AMZN, as well as from SpaceX's Colossus 1 data center.

Although the $80bn loss stems from non-cash items from earlier funding rounds, the key will be actual free cash flow in the S-1 IPO prospectus. Competitors’ enormous compute commitments will squeeze margins.
