Warren Buffett (Berkshire Hathaway $BRK-B+2.0%) sold 70% of his investment in Activision Blizzard $ATVI+0.1% in the second quarter, and appears to have lost some of the gains as a federal judge said Microsoft can complete its $68.7 billion acquisition of the video game maker.

In a regulatory filing on Monday, Berkshire said it owned about 14.7 million Activision shares, or 1.9%, worth $1.24 billion as of June 30, up from 49.4 million shares, or 6.3%, as of March 31.

Maybe they have some more information we don't know about. Personally, I'd like to see $MSFT-0.1% make the acquisition.

It's probably not going as expected and he's worried about what a definitive stop to the acquisition would do to the share price.
