Polish energy group ORLEN will take over KUFPEC Norway, the Norwegian division of Kuwait's KUFPEC, in a deal valued at $445 million. The move will increase ORLEN's natural gas production in Norway by a third to more than four billion cubic metres a year, making it the fifth largest producer in Norway.
In line with a strategy approved earlier this year, ORLEN plans to invest PLN...

It's certainly an interesting company and the dividend is beautiful. However, I want to include US stocks from this sector in my portfolio first and then possibly look at the Europe one.
The $NOC company, together with the US Air Force, made the first flight of the B-21 strategic bomber on Friday. 400 other companies participated in the production of this aircraft. The U.S. Air Force plans to buy at least 100 of the machines, and the price per machine could be as high as $750 million.
How do you view armament companies during the ongoing conflicts in the East.Do...

Hello investors, I have a question about the results from Activision Blizzard.
Where are the results of this company published after the acquisition by $MSFT? Are their 3Q results included in the gaming segment with Microsoft's results ?
Thanks for the answers in the comments, I have no experience with this yet.

ATVI was officially bought on 13/10, so I could see the next earning still separate and maybe even then it will take a while to incorporate those results under MSFT gaming.
Today we have a nice green market, helped mainly by macroeconomic data from the US, but also the results of some companies like $SBUX $PYPL $QCOM $PLTR and many others.
What do you think, will this mood in the markets last us until the end of the year? Or will there still be a hard blow and the markets will lose x%?
In my opinion, the markets could stay in a sideways trend and by...

Hey, great insight! I'm optimistic about the market too. Sideways sounds probable, and I hope for a smooth ride to the year's end. 📈😊

Earnings season continues today, what companies will you be watching for the rest of the week?
I'll be watching the results of $PYPL $QCOM after the market closes today.
Unlike other chipmakers, $QCOM is not riding the AI wave and for the full year the stock is only up 1.6%. With the expanding 5G network, demand for their chips is growing, so I'm interested in their results.

I've been watching that $QCOM lately too. It may not be riding the AI wave but as you write, it makes chips that other companies need and that may be its plus. So we'll see. I don't have it in my portfolio though. Otherwise what I'm holding is $PYPL and although it's having a tough time I'm hoping for some hint of a better tomorrow. 👍
Here we go!
The UK antitrust regulator CMA has approved the revised deal for the acquisition of game developer $ATVI by $MSFT.
How do you feel about this acquisition, which has been dragging on for over a year. I haven't found a report anywhere on how it will work out with shareholders, does anyone have any information? @lukasandel and I discussed this in a recent post.
Do you...

It's been dragging on for a really long time and it's great that it's getting finished. I don't own shares of either company, but if $MSFT's share price gets below $300, I'd probably buy already.
Shares of Vitesco Technologies Group AG $VTSC rose more than 20% on Monday, hitting a record high, after the company received news of a takeover by family-owned Schaeffler AG $SHA.
Schaeffler AG said it has already reached an agreement with the Schaeffler family, which holds its 49.9% stake in Vitesco, adding that it will offer the remaining shareholders 91 euros per share, 20%...

Microsoft plans to launch its own AI chip next month!
Microsoft is reportedly planning to launch its own AI chip to reduce its dependence on Nvidia in particular.
The chip will be similar to Nvidia's GPUs and is designed to run data center servers. This makes the chip less power-hungry. For data centers, power consumption is critical because data centers run 24/7.

Do you have a stock in your portfolio that you believe will be worth ,,x" times its value in 5-10 years? Or some speculation on a so called penny stock?
Sometimes I find that there are some interesting titles that can yield nice appreciation in a few years.
One of the companies I have in my portfolio is the Swiss company Meyer Burger (share price CHF 0.37). The company is in...

If you were to create a portfolio in the current situation would it contain more dividend stocks or even now that most tech giants are reaching their ATH would you discard them in your portfolio?
I am thinking of buying but not sure how to decide whether more dividend stocks or tech security for long term.

If I were to create a portfolio in the current situation, I would do an analysis of several companies. Then I would pick some stocks that I like and meet certain criteria ( some of the criteria have been written here in the comments ). Then I would calculate the intrinsic price of the stock and make a decision based on the fair price. But to answer the question :D. Currently I would focus more on the more stable and dividend stocks like $CVS, $BTI, $MO and lately there are some pretty hammered REITs like $O. Of course I would include some tech stocks in there too, like $GOOGL and $AMZN. For me, those two big tech stocks are still at a pretty nice price.
Have a good weekend, investors. How do you feel about the dependence of tech giants like $MSFT $GOOGL $AMZN on artificial intelligence chips from $NVDA?
These tech giants are progressing in developing their own chips for their data centers with AI deployment. An important example is $MSFT 's recent investment in d-Matrix, a company that designs optimized chips to power...

It's very possible that the tech companies will make the chips themselves and won't be so dependent on Nvidia.

I already looked at the company and did some analysis but then I forgot about this company, so thanks for reminding me :). Around that $60 I would probably think about buying it.
I think it has almost no chance against these companies. But Intel is a great and quality company.
