The Home Depot $HD reported results this week, with sales of $37.7 billion. That's a 3% drop compared to the previous year. I had the company in my portfolio earlier and I'm glad I sold its stock in the end. How do you feel about the company?

It's a good company, but I don't think I want HD stock in my portfolio.
For me, the drop is not dramatic, I believe in this business and I still hold it in my portfolio.
May I ask what the reason for the sale was? I hold their competition $LOW and even though the sector is not doing so well at the moment, I have not considered selling. It's a relatively defensive sector where the duopoly rules and even though it's "boring" retail, they have much better margins than they do on groceries or clothing.
