Tyson Foods to close Iowa plant with 1,200 employees!💼

Tyson Foods is one of the world's leading producers of food products with a focus on meat products. Headquartered in the USA, it has a long history in meat processing that dates back to1935. The company is known for its wide range of products, including chicken, pork and beef, ready meals and other food products. With more than 120,000 employees, it is a major player in the food market.

The company announced Monday that it will close a pork processing plant in the city of Perry State Iowaeliminating approximately 1 200 employees. These decisions bring additional challenges for the US pork industry. The company experienced its biggest boom during the pandemic COVID-19and now faces a decline in demand and must respond to market changes.

Tyson Foods is encouraging its employees to apply for other jobs within the company.

I would love to include a company in my portfolio that deals specifically with food and food products 🥩.

Does anyone know this company or invest through another company in the food industry?

It's not an easy time for $TSN. I wonder when it will pass. I've already sold my position at a slight profit. I figure the opportunities are elsewhere.

I don't invest in the food sector, nor do I honestly know of any better known companies in that sector.
