🌟 Amazon introduces the next generation Graviton4 chip! 🌟

Amazon Web Services has just launched the fourth generation of its processor Graviton. This new chip brings tremendous improvements in performance and efficiency.

According to the director of product management for computing and artificial intelligence atAmazon, the new Graviton4 provides three times the computing power and memory of its predecessor, and about 75 % more memory bandwidth. 📈

With the growing demand for chips that are key to the global economy, companies like Amazon, Apple, Alphabet a Microsoft are investing huge sums in developing their own chips.

The CEO ofMoor Insights & Strategy, notes that although Nvidia dominates the AI chip market with more than 80% share, demand is large enough to feed more competitors.

AWS is struggling to offer cost-effective alternatives to chips Nvidia through its products Inferentia and Trainium, which are aimed at AI. While the goal AWS is not to compete directly with Nvidia, their strategy is to provide customers with more efficient and cost-optimised options.

Amazon not only designs and tests its own chips, but also reduces development costs and provides its customers with powerful tools at an affordable price. Graviton4 , for example, rents for 0,02845 dollars per hour of computing power, allowingAWS customers tocut their IT costs by up to half. 💡

AWS is expanding its semiconductor business, and that could have an interesting impact on the company's profits. Chip development is expensive, but the potential savings and growth in AWS ' influence in this sector are huge. AWS' s profit margin reached a record high in the first quarter of 2024 38 % and analyst expectations are high.

🚀 With these innovations, AWS has a promising future. What's your view on Amazon $AMZN and its cloud industry?

Another cool move. It will definitely help the company a lot.

This could help Amazon a lot. It looks like it will fit perfectly into the company's business along with AWS.
