🚖 Uber enters a new era of mobility with Lucid Motors!
Uber $UBER just made one of the boldest moves in its history. It announced a six-year strategic alliance with electric car maker Lucid $LCID and startup Nuro that has one goal: to deploy more than 20,000 fully autonomous robotaxis in major U.S. cities.

👉 The $300 millioninvestment in Lucid is to ensure the production of electric vehicles adapted for autonomous driving. The software will be provided by Nuro, known for its "Level 4" a system capable of operating completely driverless even under normal conditions.

🔋 Vehicles Lucid offer a range of up to 450 miles, which has a major impact on cost, operational efficiency and fleet availability.

Lucidshares responded by rising more than 35 %and Uber shares are up more than 50 %!

Markets are beginning to appreciate the long-term potential of a partnership that moves Uber out of the "platforms" closer to infrastructure-based autonomous mobility.

✅ This partnership builds on Uber'searlier collaboration with Waymo (Alphabet)securing access to two of the most advanced players in autonomy.

💬 Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi summed it up succinctly:
"We want to safely and efficiently bring the magic of autonomous driving to more people around the world."

Lucid on the other hand, sees an opportunity to break into a whole new segment: from a luxury EV manufacturer to a key supplier of cars for robotaxis.

This deal lays the foundation for a globally scalable robotaxi model that could change the economics of ride-sharing. Uber is moving into the role of a key player in autonomous infrastructure with lower costs, higher margins and virtually unlimited opportunity to expand into other markets.
