What do you think is the difference between investment and speculation?

To me, an investment is something that has fundamentals and intrinsic value backed by numbers. I invest with the belief that it makes sense in the long run.

Speculation is the opposite for me. It's more of a bet that sentiment will change or that results will improve in the future, but it has no value now.
