Meta | Q2 2025: revenue and profit growth, higher advertising price and strong margins
Meta ended the second quarter of 2025 in excellent shape and once again confirmed that its advertising model can generate strong growth even in an environment of high infrastructure investment and increasing regulation. The company's revenue grew 22% year-on-year to $47.5 billion, operating profit increased 38% to $20.4 billion and net income jumped 36% to $18.3 billion. Earnings per share came in at $7.14, up nearly two dollars from a year ago.

In addition to the growth in results at the income statement level, the company strengthened at the operating and balance sheet levels. The number of daily active users across the app family grew 6% to 3.48 billion, the number of ads served increased 11%, and the average cost of ads increased 9%.
