Do you think FSD approval in the EU could kickstart another rally for $TSLA? Would you try a ride with FSD?
Tesla has finally received FSD approval in the Netherlands, and this is the first such authorization in the EU. In my view this is very bullish news and it’s only a matter of time before other countries allow the system as well. Tesla hasn’t been doing great lately, so this could help. I’m not buying more shares right now, but I definitely plan to hold them long-term.
It can definitely help them, and hopefully other countries will follow suit. For a while it looked like it wouldn't pass, but it's finally approved and I'll be happy to try it.
It's progress, but FSD as such is nowhere near that… they have approval for level 2… MUSK will definitely be able to sell it, but the stock should be about $100 lower and will still be expensive… Tesla's cameras are useless once it starts raining, etc…
At this stage it's mainly good for Tesla that it can start bringing in some money, but it's still too early to say it would actually change anything.
I definitely wouldn't say that Tesla hasn't been doing well... FSD is another product that makes a lot of sense in this company's product lineup. The same goes for Optimus, autonomous vehicles, etc.
