🤖 Unitree Robotics surged more than 500% at its Shanghai debut today.

If you're not familiar with the company, Unitree makes humanoid robots and robot dogs. You may have seen them online—their robots run, dance, do backflips, and are gradually mastering increasingly complex tasks.

And it's not just some distant Chinese project. You can even buy their robots here. For example, the Unitree G1 EDU is available at Alza for around 1.25 million crowns.

At its IPO, Unitree raised about 900 million dollars and investor interest was huge. The stock soared hundreds of percent on its first day, and the company suddenly reached a valuation of around 50 billion dollars.

Humanoid robots and automation are becoming the next big stock market theme. It's no longer just something that looks good in videos. Humanoid robots are gradually starting to appear directly in factories and warehouses, and companies are looking for ways to integrate them into everyday operations. For me, it will be very interesting to watch how quickly their use expands.

Is anyone following robotics and some players in this sector?

Almost a billion dollars on robots, wow. I wouldn't see the transition to them doing everything for us as so imminent, but I've been keeping an eye on those robots for a while now. Honestly, from what I've seen so far, they seem even better than Tesla's robots. It will be interesting to watch, I'm curious about the development.
