This is far more interesting reading for me than it might seem at first glance - Nio's Certified Used Cars Start at €26,900 in Europe, Battery Excluded

....because it's not just used car prices, but an X-ray of how Nio $NIO is actually doing in Europe. And that picture is mixed to alarming. The entire certified used inventory across three direct EU markets is just thirty cars worth around $1.77 million - as the article itself aptly notes, that's less than the price of twenty new vehicles. That's not a sign of a healthy, scaling business; it looks more like thin, cautious operations. But Norway tells me even more: the only market where Nio still has new cars for sale (106 configurations versus fifteen across the rest of the EU), while the certified used page there has not a single car. In other words, in most direct European markets Nio is running down inventory rather than expanding.

Competition is strong. NIO will have a tough time. I don't own the stock. But I've been following the company for a long time and it's not for me yet. In my opinion, BYD is doing much better right now.
