🔥 Accenture +7%! AI opens up new opportunities beyond chip companies

Accenture $ACN announced a new partnership with Anthropic focused on testing and safety of advanced AI models.

What's interesting about this?

• Both companies plan to invest a combined minimum of $2 billion over 5 years.

• Each company has committed to invest at least $1 billion.

• Accenture shares rose approximately 7% after the announcement.

AI safety and reliability are becoming increasingly important for companies. Accenture can benefit from growing demand for safe AI implementation in practice.

For us, it's an interesting example that not only chip makers can profit from AI. Opportunities can also arise for companies that help safely implement AI in enterprises. For Accenture, it will be important to watch how such partnerships translate into revenue and profitability.

Do you have Accenture in your portfolio? And do you think AI will be more of an opportunity or a threat for consulting firms? 👇

I don't actually hold the stock in my portfolio, but I check on it from time to time. The company remains under considerable market pressure. Yesterday's "spike" was erased fairly quickly and the shares closed around the level where they opened the day with a gap (if we consider regular trading hours).

Looking at the last few quarters, production has been quite stagnant. And margins from the end of last year until today have also been moving in a rather wide range. Investors don't like to see that in this type of company.

But the stock itself was interesting to me below the covid low. Now there's a bounce, it was way oversold.

I'm not planning to invest, but I will keep following the company. Thanks for the post!
