Nvidia $NVDA is now also venturing into AI agent safety. It has introduced the OpenShell platform, which is designed to help companies keep control over everything their AI can actually do.

AI today no longer just answers questions. It can work with files, run programs, or handle various tasks on behalf of humans. And when you give it access to virtually everything, it can turn into quite a mess. That is why Nvidia wants to offer companies an environment where they can easily set what an agent is allowed to do and where it cannot reach.

Besides that, Nvidia has increased its share buyback program by another $150 billion. In total, it now has approximately $235 billion available for buybacks. Of course, this does not mean it will spend all that money right away, but it is still a hefty sum.

It is quite interesting to see where Nvidia has moved in recent years. Previously, most people knew it mainly for graphics cards; today it deals not only with chips but also software, infrastructure, and AI security. And it has enough money to approve such huge buybacks.

I added Nvidia to my portfolio around $100; I am holding and waiting for a better price for a possible increase in my position.

Do you have Nvidia in your portfolio? Do you see potential in the stock even at the current price?

I don't have Nvidia in my portfolio and it looks like after today's buyback announcement and stock growth I won't have it for a long time :)
