After the decline, Micron looks attractive for a small position at a P/E of around 11.5

Hi, everyone!

I’ve had $MU on my watchlist for some time. After this drop, it looks like a good buy for my portfolio (to start a small position). The P/E is currently around 11.5. Is anyone else thinking about opening a position, or is it already too late to get in? Thanks for your advice and opinions :)

In December, a massive share buyback program of approx. $35bn will begin. Throughout 2027, the company should finally return abnormal profits to shareholders. Until now, it was limited by Chips subsidies... We’ll very likely break through $1500 per share in 2027. 🫡

SK Hynix has already spent around 30bn on BB, and everyone can see what effect that had on the price. The market needs to be convinced that AI is a real business, that hyperscalers will have enough money for it, and that memory manufacturers (from China) won’t ramp up production capacity so much that memory prices fall back to their usual levels.
