Boeing beats Q3 revenue forecasts but posts a larger loss than expected

✈️🚨 BOEING Q3: REVENUE BEAT, BIGGER LOSS 🚨

$BA posted a core loss of $0.34/share vs $0.21 expected, but revenue rose 4% YoY to $24.19B (est. $23.84B). Defense sales jumped 15%, free cash flow hit $464M vs ~$325M expected, and backlog reached a record $745B. Commercial jets are still losing money (-6.5% margin) while 737 output sticks at 47/month.

🟢 Bull case: Record backlog, rising cash flow and the F/A-XX fighter win mean Boeing is executing better than the EPS line suggests.

🔴 Bear case: Commercial margins are still negative, and until 737 output stabilizes, every quarter is a "show me" quarter.

Is $BA a turnaround buy near its 52-week low, or still a value trap? 👇

I see that airline stocks are taking a real beating. I don’t currently have any airline stocks in my portfolio. I used to own $RYAAY, but I sold it.
