US manufacturing PMI rises to 55.5 as output accelerates and cost pressures ease

🚨 US FACTORIES ARE SPEEDING UP

The October ISM Manufacturing PMI jumped to 55.5 vs 54.5 expected, the 10th straight month of expansion. Production hit 59.0, the highest since Nov 2021, while Prices Paid cooled to 75.2 from 77.9.

🟢 Bull case: Output and new orders are accelerating while input-cost pressure eases. That's a "growth without hotter inflation" mix that supports cyclicals and earnings.

🔴 Bear case: Prices Paid is still above 75 and the 10Y is near 4.94%. A hot economy may keep rates higher for longer, and hiring is cooling (Employment 52.4).

Is this a real industrial recovery or an inflation risk in disguise? 👇
