My Notes

What is your current perception of the tobacco industry?
I have $MO+0.2% and $BTI+0.1%stocks in my portfolio , but I'm selling BTI and keeping $MO+0.2%. Revenues from regular cigarettes are down and will continue to decline, but companies are moving to e-cigarettes, new products and various alternatives that are becoming more popular and starting to sell more and more.

Altria
MO💵 Three reliable dividend stocks with a yield above 5%!
Here is my pick of 3 interesting dividend companies from different sectors.
These companies are known for their long history of raising dividends every year and at current prices offer yields over 5 %. Although dividend increases are not expected to be huge somehow, their stability and advantages over their competitors make...

Super post👍. I have all 3 in my portfolio, but I plan to sell PFE when I see it in the green.
Do you have tobacco stocks included in your portfolio?
I have $BTI+0.1% and $MO+0.2%stocks in my portfolio . I keep the position the same size, but I haven't overbought in a while and don't plan to. These companies pay a very solid dividend. However, I am starting to worry about the future of this sector.
Altria is increasing its share buybackprogram from the original $1 billion to $2.4 billion. This news flash made me quite happy, as I find buybacks to be much better than dividend payments. The dividend here is very nice and $MO+0.2% stock has been around that $40 mark for the past year. I was buying their stock quite a bit last year, but the sector has faced a few problems...

Investors, which stocks do you think are currently undervalued and are you buying them?
For me, it's currently $MO+0.2%, $O+0.7%, $VICI+0.7% and $P911.DE+0.1%. I will definitely be buying REITs in March.

Moneta, KB, Vitesse Energy, Mercedes-Benz, Verizon, Société Generale, PKN Orlen ... my top two
Investors, what stocks did you buy or sell this week?
I've been buying shares of $MO+0.2% and $GOOGL-1.8% this week after the drop.
Interesting observation, after yesterday's Altria $MO+0.2% results:
Philip Morris sells more cigarettes in Indonesia than in the US (Altria).
It's one piece to the puzzle that shows how important emerging markets are in the cigarette business. In Indonesia, for example, almost 30% of the population over 15 years of age smoke.

But that's not news to me, a lot of tobacco focuses on Asia and young adults(or rather kids). If you start early,it's supposedly harder to quit. This was the reason I said no to tobacco :)
Investors, which companies are due to pay you a dividend in the near future?
I am very grateful for the portfolio tracker here on Bulios, as I no longer have to look all over the place for when my dividend is coming and I have everything in one place and now in October I should be getting a dividend from $O+0.7% and $MO+0.2%.
Investors, how do you currently approach investing in stocks and ETFs ?
I am currently trying to accumulate cash so that I can buy stocks when they fall significantly. Otherwise, I have not been buying tech stocks at all lately and...

Buying ETFs is like putting on clean socks in the morning... classic :) I am accumulating and will gradually pour cash into the market and into individual titles.

I plan to buy more $BTI+0.1% stock next week. Shares of $BTI+0.1% are currently very undervalued and the company pays a dividend of 10%, which is very respectable. I also plan to buy more shares of $MO+0.2% as the stock is at a nice price.
Which tobacco company's stock do you have in your portfolio and at what price are you buying?
Altria($MO+0.2%) raises its dividend again after a year, increasing 4.3% to $0.98/share quarterly. At the current share price, that's a 9.1% yield.
Altria now has the highest dividend yield of any tobacco company (followed by $BTI+0.1% at 9%).
But this can also be viewed negatively. Some investors would welcome more debt reduction or buybacks. Personally, I am of the same opinion...

I have a feeling that the divi in those numbers isn't exactly sustainable for them long term right now. After all, they don't exactly have a small debt

Investors, what stocks did you buy or sell this month?
I've been buying $MO+0.2% stock this month and this week on Monday I was overbought $CVS+1.2% stock as it dropped a few % again and got below the $70 level and then on Monday I was overbought $BAC+1.3% and $PFE+0.6% stock as they are also at a great price. As far as selling goes, I have sold off all shares of $MMM-0.9% at a...

Investors, do you prefer value or growth stocks and which are your favorite stocks?
I prefer value stocks, and my favorite stocks are $AAPL-1.6%, $CVS+1.2%, or $MO+0.2%, for example.
Some may find that unethical. I don't smoke myself and have never bought any product from these companies, but the business model is absolutely brilliant. I have $MO+0.2% and $PM-0.2%.
