I recently came across a company called Liberty Media, which is a holding company under which Formula One Group. Overall it's quite an interesting business and the performance for me is not bad.

💡 Siemens Energy reports billion-dollar profit and stock growth! 🚀 German giant Siemens Energy $SMNEY had an extremely successful year, reporting a net profit of 1.3 billion euros. This is a significant turnaround after last year's losses caused by problems with wind turbines and a €15billion government bailout . The company's shares responded by rising sharply by 20 %.
I don't know if I would buy at the current price and take the advice of analysts, but at the very least it's an interesting business and I probably wouldn't have a problem buying at a lower price.

"As part of the agreement, TSMC has committed to refrain from stock buybacks for five years and share excess profits with the US government."
I'd be quite interested in this. I wonder why they agree to such terms when the US needs them more than the other way around.

I read an article about global ETFs and started thinking about it in the context of how prices on the US stock market have skyrocketed since the election compared to prices on European stock markets. In that context, it would make the most sense to me... Read more
