I was quite surprised by $TMUS+0.1%. According to the results this quarter, it outperformed other operators in customer and revenue growth. The number of customers grew 11% more year-over-year, plus it ranked first in network quality tests. Service revenue reached $15.9 billion, up 4% year-on-year ($15.3 billion in 3Q 2022).

I wouldn't expect this with $TMUS+0.1%. I use Vodafone services and if I were forced to buy stocks from that sector, it would be $VOD-0.3% stocks.

I also expected worse results and in the end it turned out quite positive. So let's see how the company will fare going forward.
Virgin Galactic $SPCE+4.6%, wants to send the first tourists into space in 2 years. Just a few years ago this seemed like science fiction to me, that a "normal" person could go there (I know it will cost a fortune, so I probably won't be that tourist).
I'm not invested in the company's stock, but I'm thinking that in time space tourism might be a nice investment :)

I have $JPM+3.5% and $BAC+2.2%, both I am happy with and then also like Mark I speculate a bit with $PYPL+2.7% but it is not a bank. I haven't included the Czech Republic yet but I'm considering it by the end of the year.
Have a great Saturday, I know $NOK hasn't been doing well for a while and now it has announced it will be cutting ccs 14,000 jobs as part of cost cutting. What started them off to be in this position? Thanks

It was mainly the fact that they were unable to innovate enough that started it off, and then somehow it just kept going :)
Yesterday, $PG-0.7% announced the results. Revenues rose 6% to $21.9 billion compared to $20.6 billion in the same period last year. Organic sales growth, excluding the impact of foreign exchange and acquisitions, was 7%. Net earnings per share rose 17% to $1.83. Maybe no terror for some, but I'm happy with them. Do you also own their stock?

For this company, the results are great. I would love to include PG stock in my portfolio, but the stock is too expensive right now.

How satisfied are you with the results of $C+2.2% Citigroup?

I don't know the company at all. But thanks for the tip, and I'll look into the company.
One of the top two of the top 10% has $BTI+0.5%. Aside from the fact that I'm completely out of touch with the product, I'm wondering about the future of the tobacco industry. The ever increasing tax in some countries has driven the prices up so much that some customers have just given up. So is the future of tobacco companies in electronic cigarettes or something else entirely...

I think the sector is very stable and companies have found that normal cigarettes are not working so well so they are switching to other products such as electric cigarettes, which young people are buying, and I think tobacco companies will continue to do well. Otherwise, I have $BTI+0.5% stock in my portfolio and the dividend is great :D

I've seen some advertising, but this is the first time I've seen the stock. If they really are quoted in pounds and the charts don't lie, at £10,000 it was quite a rocket per share.
