Does anyone know how China is going to solve the population decline that awaits them in the next 30 years? And what would be the impact on world markets if their population drops by 40% by 2050?
So the steps they can and even must take are many. As far as I know, this is the main one:
1. Repeal the one-child policy in 2016. Now Chinese couples can have two children.
2. Raising the retirement age. The retirement age is gradually increasing from 60 to 65 for men and from 55 to 60 for women.
3. Investing in health care and infant mortality.
4. China is likely to push for increased labor productivity, automation and robotization. This should compensate for the decline in the workforce.
5. China is likely to open its market more to immigrants to compensate for population decline. But this will be a big challenge for Chinese culture.
BinanceUS has been under pressure for some time now, so I would expect the trading activity there to cease. Binance is currently based in Malta, so I wouldn't worry so much there. How Coinbase deals with this will be important and I wouldn't be surprised if it drags on for a few years.
How do you see it with Binance? Is it another FTX?
U.S. regulators on Monday sued Binance and its CEO Changpeng Zhao for allegedly operating a "network of fraud," adding pressure on the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange and sending $BTCUSD to its lowest level in nearly three months.

Currently quite stretched, but even so, there are plenty of trads to be found. I'm not adding much to my investments at the moment.

Buffet himself recommends the S&P500. It's not about laziness, it's just that some people don't try to beat the market.
I don't hold, but I'm sure chain stores will always be needed, whether for physical purchases or, in time, perhaps as a stock purchase online and delivery...
