📉 CD Projekt reported a drop in profit, but still beat expectations. Polish video game giant CD Projekt $CDR.WA-1.0% has released its results for 2024, showing that even a year without a new game release can deliver very solid numbers. Although the company saw its net profit drop by 2,3 % to 469.9 million zlotys(approx. USD 122 million)However, it beat analysts' expectations, who... Read more
Yesterday it rose very nicely - the S&P500 added less than 2%, $AMD5.3% jumped 6% and $TSLA-0.1% even 11%. I don't want to time the market, so I guess I don't care where it goes because I'll either buy or be happy with the gains. We'll see... Read more
💰 Investing in gold! In times of global uncertainty, history often repeats itself. Gold, the traditional store of value, is regaining strength. And it's no wonder - the combination of inflation, geopolitical tensions and aggressive buying by central banks creates the ideal environment for its price to rise. Spot gold has recently shot above the $3,000/ounce mark.
NuScale Power: A risky but promising bet on the future of nuclear power
NuScale Power $SMR1.9% is a start-up focused on small modular nuclear reactors. It is a highly speculative investment as the company is still in a loss-making phase and is yet to see the first commercial deployment of its technology. But if NuScale succeeds, it could become a pioneer in modern nuclear power.
Does anyone else here hold shares of $CEZ.PR-1.3%?
I bought a few shares of CEZ a few years ago, but a lot has changed since then and I wouldn't buy again. My position is pretty small, so I'll hold until something changes significantly.
Archer Aviation and Palantir: A revolution in air transport?
Archer Aviation $ACHR0.1% has entered into a strategic partnership with Palantir Technologies $PLTR-0.1% to use artificial intelligence to develop eVTOL aircraft (electric vertical take-off and landing).

The Palantir one will be interesting even without that, but it's definitely an interesting opportunity. Both $PLTR-0.1% and $NVDA3.1% have fallen nicely now after that huge run up, and I'm starting to increase my position again.

📉 FedEx slows down - revised outlook and margin pressure send shares down!
FedEx $FDX0.6%, a traditional indicator of the health of the global economy, has rewritten expectations for fiscal year 2025. Shares fell by more than 11 %, the biggest daily drop in two years. The company now expects adjusted earnings between $18.00 and $18.60 per share, having targeted $20 to $22as recently... Read more
For me, it's not that interesting and that $AMZN2.0% has really been better than $FDX0.6% for a long time, so it doesn't make sense to buy shares of the worse company.
📉 Micron: Margins overshadow great numbers! 🧠💾 US semiconductor giant Micron Technology $MU released its second fiscal quarter results and the numbers certainly didn't disappoint for me. Revenue was up by 38 %, earnings beat analysts' expectations and the company offered a strong outlook for the period ahead. Still, the stock lost over 8 %due to margins.
What do you think of the $NKE-0.0%results ?Will anyone be buying in today after a 7% drop ?
Nike reported results yesterday that beat expectations, but the stock fell about 7% in the aftermarket. The drop was due to news that the company expects a significant drop in sales. Fortunately,I don't have$NKE-0.0%stock in my portfolio, but I believe the company will recover over time and... Read more
I have honestly never been interested in this sector and there are better opportunities on the market right now. I'd rather focus on the technology stocks right now.

Shares of $BA0.8% rose 7% yesterday after upbeat comments from CFO Brian West, who said Boeing expects less cash outflow this quarter. I don't have $BA0.8% stock in my portfolio and won't be buying it. The company has several problems and I don't see much reason to invest in such a company.
What's your take on $BA0.8%? Do you invest in this sector?
Do you give P/E a lot of weight, or do you prefer to focus on other metrics?
P/E (price to earnings) is one of the most commonly tracked metrics when analyzing stocks, but sometimes I think it can be misleading and doesn't necessarily determine whether a stock is expensive or cheap. I do track this metric in my analysis, but it's certainly not the only factor I look at. There... Read more
I wouldn't give too much weight to this metric and would rather focus on the company's financial health, competitive advantage, management and then address these metrics.
