I sold CAT 2021-2022 at an average of about $220 because they were at a very high valuation and unfortunately I didn't buy them again during the downturn and today they are back with the P/E down significantly due to earnings. I'd like to go back to them eventually, but the company is very sensitive to economic cycles and given the recession and potential problems in the mining industry there could be some more downside.
Anyway, it's a very solid company and I would recommend watching it.
I don't own CAT stock, but I've read that they expect very good quarterly results, so the stock may still go up. The current price is high for me, so I'm not buying.
I don't own shares of $CAT, but the sector and focus is interesting.

$CAT is definitely a quality company with a premium price.

It's still buyable, but it's a little close to historic highs. Under $200 I would look at it😊
I bought in October and now I'm washing my hands 🤪😁
