This brings me to a general question - How long does it take you on average to "sit out" a losing position, and what stock did you wait the longest on?

I'm averaging $21... so I'm thinking of knocking it down some more... but I'm waiting for a drop.)

For me, it was Macy's $M buying at $42 and missing a possible exit at $70, then it took a brutal ride down and I averaged it down a bit from there to sell at +-0% in 2021💀.

I'll see myself out 😀, American Airlines with an entry price at $30 in 2019, a while before dropping and gradually dropping to under $10. I didn't sell and only diluted my position at $10 in the larger one, so I'm still waiting.

As I recall, it was Nvidia last time where I waited over a year and just watched a massive loss in the high teens percent range. However, I didn't panic and kept regularly re-purchasing because I trusted the company. That's what has worked for me this year too.
