I know there are quite a few Niofans already here, so I'm adding an update that probably won't bring millions to the coffers, but definitely an interesting extra service 👇

$NIO will launch a trial next month that will give car owners in China the flexibility to rent the company's cars when traveling in Europe. NIO's destination travel service in Europe will begin trial operations on July 1, and interested parties can make reservations at that time.

The service will be available in Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark and will cover 11 cities including Oslo, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and Amsterdam.

NIO will offer two models, the ET7 and EL7, in a trial run, but for now it is only available to NIO car owners. In the future, however, the rental option will be available to everyone.

This is great for me though... considering I'd be flying to China and could somehow rent a car there for a bargain, I'd take it in a heartbeat :)

Even though it's nothing special, it's good that they keep spinning the wheels and bringing news to customers.

I agree, the company really doesn't stand still. They still need to introduce more models, open new factories and it will be top.

It was kind of expected, it was just not known in what form this service would be launched. Eventually, hopefully, it will be available to everyone.

I've read about it. It's gonna depend a lot on how it works out in terms of the cost to the public of the rental.

The basic rental is for a week and I think it comes out to 100 euros a day. Not cheap fun, in my opinion. But maybe I'm wrong, I don't know how car rentals are going.
