British American Tobacco $BTI
I'm becoming more and more interested in British American Tobacco, a company in the tobacco industry.
Results for the full year 2022 :
Revenue : $33.431 billion
EPS : $3.55
I feel like this company's stock is way undervalued and the stock is currently at a really nice price. Plus, this company offers a dividend of just over 8%, which is very solid.
Overall, I think that unless some major regulations and changes come in, tobacco companies will continue to do well. After all, people will still smoke.
How do you view this company?
I just had them in a post the other day, disregarding the moral aspect, the dividend more than great and hopefully I never had a red position with BTI.
That's not a bad company. Unless you're dealing with the moral aspect. Now the question is whether the other two competitors have better potential in the future through those alternative products. 🤷♂️
I recently opened a position at these prices.
I was already shopping at $35 and the company seemed undervalued. At $32, I've been casually adding more, and if we look there again, I'll be happy to continue shopping. Almost 15% of my portfolio is in BAT, that's how much I trust them.
