Do you also invest in indices. tracking mid-cap or small-cap companies? (For example, ETFs on the Russell 3000, S&P 400)? Or do you put your trust only in the S&P 500? I'm thinking about diversifying among mid or smaller companies as well just in the form of ETFs on the aforementioned indices.
I'm investing in the SP500 and I'm putting a little more into the Nasdaq.
Personally, I use SCHD and DGRO as a hard core ETF portfolio. Of those outright growth indexes, I then have DCA in those steroid versions of ETFs. Emerging markets and outside the US then I don't use steroids :)
I have mainly the S&P 500 and then individual stocks. But it's not a bad thing to put something in NASDAQ or elsewhere.
I'm all for the classic SaP500. Performance and share distribution makes the most sense to me.
Wow, how is it possible that the SP400 is underperforming the SP500 by so much? I'd go with the classics.
