ČSOB'S ESTIMATE OF MORTGAGE VOLUMES FOR 2023
Banks in the Czech Republic granted mortgages worth CZK 138 billion last year, 25 billion less than in 2022. The volume of loans from building savings fell by CZK 20 billion to CZK 34 billion.
The group estimates that prices of apartments and houses fell in the fourth quarter of last year, while land prices rose.
