What effect, if any, do you expect the US election to have on stock prices?

It's hard to say, but I agree with Ondra. Usually when the president-elect is a Democrat, stocks react more positively to that.

Statistically, the 4th year of the term is the best performing. The same is true that Democratic presidents have performed better than Republican presidents. 😊
