How do you feel about the statements of the newly elected US President Donald Trump? Alternatively, what do you expect from him and are you wondering if this will have an impact on your portfolio?
Everyone has probably heard about the tariffs, then the statements about the Panama Canal, the desire to acquire Greenland, the proposal to merge the country with Canada, and last but not least today the possibility of a "customs emergency". The idea is scary enough, but I don't think it would be that simple. However, this news didn't have a big impact on the markets and I don't think it will affect the stock much going forward.
It is not pleasant to hear, but it should not have a significant impact on the stock.

Oh and the impact on the portfolio-, my guess is there will be a pragmatic deal with China. (Musk has a lot of experience with their style) That said, I predict overall growth under a Trump presidency in both US and CH stocks with a 75% probability
I hardly pay attention to him. I try to own assets that will thrive whenever he's in the White House. If you are concerned about this situation, look back at what important things he pushed through in his previous term and the effect it had on the stock markets.
I don't think it's good news. I don't like this kind of move by Trump at all and it could have a negative effect on the markets.
