The year 2025 is just beginning, but some stocks are already starting to stand out and show their huge potential. Today we look at two stocks that have come to the fore since the start of the year and have all the makings of long-term growth.

They are Duolingo (DUOL) and Spotify Technology (SPOT). Both companies are constantly evolving, innovating and attracting investors.

Duolingo $DUOL: An innovative approach to learning and generative AI

🟢 +23.19% YTD

Duolingo, a well-known foreign language learning platform, is an ideal example of a company that can leverage modern technology to take its business to the next level. What makes it so special? In addition to language learning, Duolingo has ventured into other areas such as teaching music, mathematics, and most importantly, has become a leader in using generative AI to create personalized curricula.

Generative AI allows Duolingo to customize learning materials based on each user's strengths and weaknesses. This ensures maximum learning efficiency and promotes better retention. Additionally, Duolingo has introduced interactive features such as Video Call, which within Duolingo Max allows users to interact with a character from the app, creating an experience similar to a real tutor.

Duolingo expects revenue growth of nearly 30% in 2025, demonstrating the company's strong position in the online education market. If this growth can be sustained, Duolingo could have a strong long-term investment record.

Spotify $SPOT: Going from good to great

🟢 +39.30% YTD

Spotify, the music streaming giant, is at a stage where it's no longer just a good investment title, but a great one. A few years ago, the company was struggling, including unsustainable management and losses. But CEO Daniel Ek made important decisions, including laying off employees and simplifying the focus on music streaming. And those decisions have paid off.

Since the beginning of 2023, Spotify's stock has risen more than 670%. If you had invested $10,000 at the beginning of 2023, you would have more than $77,000 today. Spotify recently reported great results for the most recent quarter, with 16% year-over-year revenue growth. The company achieved record gross profit of 32.2% and free cash flow of 877 million.
