Airbnb | Q2 2025: Accelerating demand, record cash flow and expanding business beyond accommodation
Airbnb has had a strong start to the peak travel season. Demand for accommodation picked up noticeably during the second quarter and the company was able to leverage the growth well. This was helped by a combination of an improved user experience and greater efficiency thanks to digital support that simplifies communication between guests and hosts. The result is not only higher customer satisfaction, but also better operating leverage.

Alongside this, international expansion is increasingly gaining ground. Fast-growing markets outside the traditional regions are bringing new bookings as well as wider business diversification. At the same time, the company is pushing the boundaries of its platform - linking accommodation to services and experiences and unifying them in a modernized app. This lays the foundation for Airbnb to become a comprehensive marketplace covering the entire travel experience.
