Arteris, Inc. (NASDAQ: AIP) is a U.S. company headquartered in Campbell, California, founded in 2003, that develops and licenses semiconductor intellectual property (IP) for on-chip interconnects. Its core product is network-on-chip (NoC) technology – a "data network" in silicon that handles communication between processor cores, AI accelerators, memory and other blocks within a system-on-chip (SoC). The portfolio includes the FlexNoC and Ncore IP families (including cache-coherent interconnects) and Magillem software for automating SoC integration. Its customers are chip and system makers in the automotive, data center, AI/ML, consumer electronics and communications markets, making Arteris a "pick-and-shovel" supplier to a growing number of chip designs for autonomous driving and artificial intelligence. The company went public in October 2021.
