Shopify reported earnings today and the stock shot up 20%. For me, an interesting stock maybe for some speculation, but not really as an investment.

Shares of $SHOP+1.6% plunged 18% yesterday following the results. It's an interesting company, it's growing really fast and the potential is still pretty big there, but it's too big a risk for me.

Today I'm interested in $O+0.5% I'm in the plus there, but I'd still like to buy more so I wouldn't be angry about the reduction. I think there's still a little time for this sector because I think interest rates will be up for a while. Next $WBD+10.8% $MPW+13.8% $PLUG+1.0%...all losing and I'd like to hear a good outlook. 😊

I don't see $SHOP+1.6% being talked about here. But I'd say it's worth mentioning.
The company posted mostly positive Q1 results today, and gained +25% right after the market opened. 🟢
But what has caused such growth from my perspective is news that suggests the company could be headed in a good direction.

Well, the results were, I would say, unexpectedly good. Good for shareholders. I followed the company about two years ago, but I didn't invest in it. Anyway, it's an interesting business.
