📉 American automotive industry under pressure! 🚗🌎
The news that Donald Trump plans to introduce 25% tariffs on goods imported from Canada and Mexico has sent shockwaves through the markets. Shares of companies like General Motors $GM and Stellantis $STLA plunged by more than 8 %, while smaller players like Ford and Toyota have seen more modest losses.

Over the course of this year, $STLAstock is down about 40%. I used to want to buy the stock, but I haven't. Now is a pretty good buying opportunity, but recent results have not been good.

What's your opinion of Stellantis ($STLA)?

I see that $STLAstock is down over 10% this year and looks quite undervalued. To me, it's a quality company, but I want to take a closer look at it.

Company results Mercedes-Benz for the first quarter 2024 reveals a decline in sales, but at the same time shows an increase in the share of electric vehicles.

Mercedes-Benz joins a group of European automotive giants that today reveal their financial results for the first quarter 2024.

Some time ago I wrote a status about Stellantis. I was very intrigued by the company, and of the automotive sector, I like this one probably the most. However, I still don't know at what price I should buy $STLA stock. The current price doesn't seem bad to me, but I'd rather buy below $20.

What do you think about $STLA stock and its price?

I have a feeling that somehow the bag of investors in $STLA has been ripped open (probably due to very satisfactory results). Beware, it's not Tesla, but Stellantis - the world's fourth largest automaker in 2022.
