Shares of $UNH plunged 7% on Friday following news that the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) has opened an investigation into billing practices in recent months. Over the past month, the stock has more or less just been falling. I have a smaller position, but I won't be overbought.
Walmart reported strong results and the outlook is also positive, yet the stock is down 6%. I honestly can't decide if this is a good buying opportunity or if the stock is still expensive.
In your opinion, is this a good buying opportunity or is $WMTstock still expensive?
Today Alibaba reported results that were very good, and it is clear that the company is still doing well. Shares rose 14% after the results. I bought the stock at the beginning of the year and am currently over 50% in profit, which makes me quite happy.
Both companies have very similar businesses and compete with each other. With $NVO, they may be at risk of tariffs that Trump might impose, and their drug may not be as popular in the US. Still, $NVO currently looks more interesting to me , which is why I've been shopping around this year. I think the stock is undervalued and the... Read more
I used to not want to invest in China at all, but I changed my mind over time. I bought $BABAstock at the beginning of the year and would like to buy more $BY6.F at a better price .
What do you think about the growth of $METAstock this year ?
The stock is up over 20% since the beginning of the year, which is pretty solid, and so far it looks like the company should do very well this year. I bought the stock at the beginning of the year and I'm very pleased.
I had previously thought about buying shares of $ABNB, but ended up not buying them. However, I find $BKNG quite interesting as it has very good numbers and has been growing strongly recently. The stock is overvalued right now though, so we'll see if maybe there's a correction after this week's results.
Do you have shares of $ABNB or $BKNG in your portfolio?
Coinbase shares rose 9% yesterday after the results. The results were very good, mainly due to the growing interest in cryptocurrencies, especially BTC. I still hold$COINstock , but I have gradually switched directly to BTC.
CVS stock is up more than 15% after yesterday's results. While the results were not particularly good, they beat expectations. I sold the stock at the beginning of the year and I'm glad I did. The stock is up now, but I still don't like the fundamentals.
Lately, I've been thinking about including some Chinese car company stocks in my portfolio. As far as electric cars are concerned, China is definitely leading the way at the moment and I think the demand for them will get bigger and bigger. So far, I'm probably most interested in $BY6.F because it could be a big competitor to Tesla.
Do you have any Chinese car stocks in your... Read more
Is the construction sector represented in your portfolio?
I've been wanting to add some construction company stocks to my portfolio for a while now, as I find this sector to be quite growth-oriented but stable at the same time. I therefore bought shares of $HEIJM.AStoday .
In the end, McDonald's results didn't turn out too well, but the stock still rose 5%. I did have $MCD in my portfolio for a while, but then I sold the stock as it is too defensive a stock for me and I don't see room for significant upside.
Next week, there will be quite a few more well-known and interesting companies reporting results. I will be interested in the results of $MCD, $SHOP, $ABNB and $RMS.PA.
Which companies' results will you be interested in?
European stocks have been relatively cheap lately, which has caught my eye, and I invested quite a bit in them last year. Currently my portfolio includes $ASML, $NVO, $MC.PA, plus Czech banks.
What European stocks do you have in your portfolio?
Amazon reported results yesterday that were great, with almost all items beating expectations (more in Flash News). However, the outlook for the next quarter was worse, causing the stock to drop 5%. I don 't have$AMZN stock in my portfolio as the price seems high.
Are you buying now after the drop, or does $AMZN still look expensive toyou ?
Amazon is doing well, but investors just want to see the best possible numbers from big companies when they are still at their peaks, and Big Tech hasn't quite been able to deliver that yet. Discounts they are, but not yet significant ones.
The stock is already getting to a very interesting price. I overbought after the drop and will now hold the stock long term.
