I may be stirring up a discussion, but I find it strange. Yes, the numbers, the statistics, but... The US debt is at the ceiling. Everyone's talking about a recession and the markets are rising? I'm not saying it's bad but it feels like a bubble maybe, I keep expecting a move down but who knows, maybe I'm not waiting. :D :D
I also agree expecting some downward movement. After all, you can't keep raising the cap indefinitely and Republicans are fundamentally opposed to raising the cap. So we'll see how this plays out.
