I like HP quite a bit, but I would like to buy the stock below $25.

The share price trend is not very stable, however, it still makes sense to me and the company pays a nice dividend as well. Alternatively, there is also a nice opportunity to buy the stock at the bottom and sell at the top.

I would be interested in your opinion on this company.

Alternatively, can you post whether or not you have this stock in your portfolio or plan to include it in your portfolio.

I'm not interested in the company either, but one has an awareness, probably everyone has encountered some product from them. It's true that there is a lot of competition in this, and I'm also more inclined to say that I personally don't see the brand around me as much as I used to. On the other hand, according to the chart, since sometime in 2012 they keep growing, with fluctuations, but then they make a new peak.

Purely as a customer, I feel that HP is in decline. I used to see the brand all over the place, not so much now. If you look at the chart for 2007-2011 and factor in inflation, it would roughly fit. But they're not doing as badly as I would expect from a purely this layman's "consumer" perspective. I'm not thinking about the company at all.

I don't know the company thoroughly, but I would certainly be interested to know how much revenue flows from what. Because printers, pc's and such aren't exactly goods that are bought on a regular basis. That would then explain to me the fluctuations in share price, periods of sales could alternate with periods of "dry".

The company is one big bore to me in a good way, a severely uninteresting business 😀 But it seems to me that Buffett invested in them, so there will be some value and benefit there. For me though they have giant swings when I look at the chart, what's behind that?
